Help me give my students sensory chairs, stools, flashcards and baskets to help them become grounded, organized, fluent and ready to learn. I am also requesting grief books to address other needs in my classroom.

My Project

The sensory chairs are a great option for my students who struggle with grounding. They will allow students to rotate in several positions to meet their sensory needs. The sensory input from the chair will provide a way to help them focus and be ready to learn.

My goal is for my students to have the option to have their sensory, organizational, and anxiety needs met without having to take a break and self soothe.

The flash cards will help them be fluent in math skills. This is only for a few students that have a need for this grounding. I am also requesting grief books, flash cards, baskets and stools for loss, fluency, organization and nervousness. I am so excited to have this option to give them this opportunity!
