Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students experience poverty and hunger. Families struggle to meet their basic needs, despite working multiple jobs. Many families are going through tough times post-COVID which makes it hard for them to provide clean laundry. It is even harder for families to get new clothing when needed.

This project will provide 44 new clothing items for students in need.

The students will be able to go to the school "boutique" to get these shirts, sweatshirts and pants when they are browsing the other clothing items that are available there at no cost to them. Students perform better in school when they feel more confident about their clothing.
