My Project
I currently work in a 4th grade, dual-language, ICT class in a diverse and inclusive public elementary school in New York. My students are these amazing little people who are motivated to learn. We have a classroom carpet but no way to clean it - as a result, it gets pretty dirty throughout the school year.
Since many of our class discussions happen on the rug, it is important that we keep it as clean as possible.
Some of our students suffer from asthma and the dust that settles on the carpet after months of use can aggravate their condition. The carpets sometimes get musty and smelly after being stored over the summer and it would be great to be able to wash them and have them smelling fresh.
We would love to be able to vacuum our class carpet at the end of the day and wash it at least once a week to ensure that it is as clean as possible. Your support could help us keep the dirt off of the rug! Thank you for your support!
