Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach in a small rural school with students from grades 6-12 who face challenges every single day. We want students to come to school every day ready to learn and be successful, but we lack some resources for our students to use daily.

We have a diverse group of students who are creative, intelligent, and passionate.

Our school is a rural, low-income school. Our students work hard every day to do their best to make positive changes in their lives.

My Project

All of our students have a lot of energy. The problem is we do not have necessary equipment for them to enjoy recess. Our students need recess, but we do not have the equipment for them to be active at recess. This donation will go towards basketballs, footballs, soccer and kick balls for them to use outside and burn some energy.

Students need time to be active during the day.

We do not have the materials to encourage play time. We are trying to implement recess for our wonderful students, your donation will go towards equipment such as a soccer goal, table tennis, and a variety of balls for students to use and encourage exercise as well as teamwork.
