This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Heading back to school is no easy task, but an interesting classroom can ease that anxiety for so many students!

Students struggle with new routines.

Many students globally are behind socially and academically due to years of inconsistent and online learning. The items in this project were chosen to support students in their learning and reading growth by meeting their interests. Books and art supplies give students space to explore and represent what they are thinking. The same art supplies and calm corner items can help students express their thoughts in a healthy way as we learn how to interact with others!

Several of the supplies incentivize learning and positive behavior with prizes that will serve our school. Other items, such as dry erase boards and clipboards, simply serve to ease activities and work in the classroom.
