Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my class work best in centers and so we need some new ways to be creative!! Students in my class have so much energy and need help to stay focused and on task. We love to build with blocks and are in need of some new blocks with vibrant colors and new designs.
My students are getting ready to go to first grade and need help staying on task.
Using the timers will help self-monitor how much time they need to finish an assignment before moving forward with an independent center. Using the calming shoulder pillow will help ease some anxious bodies during work time. The cushion pillows will be used to encourage time away from the desk, but still work at the calming rug area.
