This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is full of 24 adorable new students who have never been to school before in their life. All of them are excited and nervous to attend school.
The 24 students in my Transitional Kindergarten Classroom attend a Title I public school.
Our students' families come from low income neighborhoods and aren't able to afford the necessary school supplies for students to be successful in the school year. By providing crayons, pencils and other school supplies to my students, I am able to remove some of the financial burden from each family. By receiving new school supplies, my students will have the confidence to thrive in school.
