My Project

My students have great ideas, but are reluctant to put their thoughts to paper. In our Reading Building Thinking Classrooms, I have been inspired to try new approaches to math lessons. As I progress through the year, I am adding more strategies from this resource. We've been working problems out on chart paper, but students are still reluctant.

Having these vertical whiteboards will allow students to have non-permanent vertical surfaces to practice on.

Students will be more open to solving problems since they can quickly and easily erase mistakes or when they have a change of thought. Help me get my students on their feet and make it happen!
