Get on the Right Track!

My students need two crash pads to help build a make-shift high jump pit, along with the elastic crossbar. Training parachutes helps with speed for sprints, & Long jump mat helps with jumping the distance.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Young's classroom raised $737

My Students

Our track and field program not only encourages good health, but provides excellent training to our athletes. We need help with training aids. Track and field is a thriving sport that could help our under-privileged athletes through the esteem for the winning and opportunities for scholarships for continued education.

Track takes stamina, speed, strength, skill, and the best trait of my athletes, SPIRIT!

They are respectable, well-rounded youth that train endlessly to perform and compete in regional track meets, support the other school athletics organizations, and represent their school with pride in the community. We are proud to have 20 track athletes and are excited for the upcoming season. Our school has a HIGH percentage of students from low-income families. The Title I government funds received solely focus on the academic success of our students; however, many of our students have talents that we, the staff, would like to showcase.

My Project

The crash mats and high jump crossbar will provide the simulation of executing appropriate high jump technique. The parachutes promote speed, stamina, and endurance for sprints and mid-distance running. The batons promote correct relay exchange, the long jump mat helps increase jump distance and technique.

The donations for this project will improve my team by providing more effective training.

Technique is crucial to the success of my athletes, and I could surely use the help in providing the best opportunities for success. As a coach, it's pertinent to provide your protégés with a chance to Win! We would be so appreciative of your donations!
