My Project
In our efforts to move our programs forward, I find students looking for ways to improve, and the next level is entirely out of our hands. A foot stool at each seat in our class will allow students to put the guitar in a better position so that the guitarist can move their hands in the best possible position to access the full range of the guitar. For health reasons, this footstool will also prevent the poor placement of the hand to the guitars, avoiding putting students at risk for things like carpel tunnel syndrome or repetitive stress pains. In the big picture, having a footstool at each chair ensures that our students are progressing towards a level of proficiency that may not have been available or even considered prior.
