It was most evident in daily practice, in their ensemble practice and rehearsal. Having a foot stool does not just improve a classical position for guitar. Students utilizing a more conventional position for folk guitar can use the foot stool under the other foot, as well. I have observed students making full use of the foot stool and noticing on their own how they have access to the low range of the guitar with even their smallest finger.\r\nStudents have quickly learned to appreciate the difference between having it and not. They have made mention of the benefit it obviously provides. It did take some guitarists a while to adapt.
