Get My First Graders Go Noodling!

Help me give my students a subscription to Go Noodle PLUS so they can access energizing brain breaks, calming activities and differentiated activities to help them learn.

My Students

My students love to move and learn! We live in a farming community filled with open spaces, wooded areas and lots of farms. There is one elementary school in our district, along with one middle school and one high school. Our elementary school is Prek-4, with about 400 students.

Taking short breaks throughout the day keeps my students fresh and motivated to continue their learning!

Learning in first grade can be tough! My students need time to decompress, get their energy out and refocus so they can learn better. We love to dance, jump and play, as well as do yoga and stretching exercises to get through our day.

My Project

Having access to the upgraded version of Go Noodle means we can use special energizing brain breaks when we're feeling a little sluggish. We can also have access to calming videos that promote mindfulness and focusing. In addition, there are movement videos that will help us spell, do math and read better!

Getting up and moving around is a great way for first graders to learn!We can input our own words and spell them with our bodies.

We can follow a bubble as it travels across the country, learning about states while also learning strategies to calm our bodies. There are so many possibilities!
