My Students
My students are a group with diverse learning capabilities. I enjoy everyday that I come to work because no two days are the same.
They are my motivation and I do everything that I can to help them with their struggle for success; one achievement at a time.
Absolutely nothing comes easily to my students and absolutely nothing gets them down! The resilience that my students embody is contagious and it pushes me to do more to aid in their efforts to grow into positive members of our society. It's a two-way learning relationship.
My Project
Most of my students who join me struggle with sitting still during the 45 minutes they are with me. Even though not all of the 45 minutes consist of sitting. Their lesson consist of a multi sensory approach, most of my students struggle with being able to sit for the lesson. The wiggle chairs will help my students focus during instruction time and help them from being distracted easily. I have 1 wiggle chair in my classroom and they benefit from it. If all of my students are able to have 1 then this will give them an outlet for their movement. Being able to stay seated and move will allow them to focus on the lesson and absorb the lesson I am teaching.
