Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are unique, creative, and so full of life. Despite the fact that most of my students come from low-income households, and their home situation is not always the best for a segment of our student population, they are resilient.
But that doesn't stop them.
Sometimes participating in physical education sports is what keeps them motivated in school.
My Project
The items that I requested will help my students become more physically active. I will be able to have more students participate and practice skills at the same time, instead of having to wait for a turn.
Having more equipment items in class will help students stay engaged and less sedentary during lessons and activities.
Students will be able to enhance their affective, psychomotor, and cognitive abilities and knowledge. In the end, my job ultimately is to have students lead a healthy and physically active lifestyle. With this equipment, I will have the opportunity to expand my curriculum and help students find an athletic activity they enjoy.
