Get Hooked with Active Gaming

Help me give my students active gaming systems to engage them with physical activity and having fun with friends/peers.

My Project

I am requesting funding for active gaming systems called, Playground. These gaming systems require no games to be bought, they can all be downloaded so once we have the systems they are self-sustaining. These systems are crucial to create a dynamic, hands-on learning environment where students can thrive academically and creatively. These systems blend fun, movement, and educational content, which can positively impact SEL by improving self-awareness, emotional regulation, teamwork, and communication skills. We see 900 students each year at BVMS, and our students are willing and open to trying new and exciting lifelong activities in PE. When they learn new activities a lot of our students take those ideas home and teach their own families. Our goal would be to encourage students to encourage their families to stay active with them, by engaging with active gaming that they could do at home.
