This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our elementary is a Title I school in Southeast Houston, which 95% of our student is considered at risk.Many of our students live in neighborhoods where they cannot go outside and play because it is just too dangerous.

Our students come from low-income families, where they may experience violence, poverty and other challenges in their neighborhood.
Our elementary students experienced HARVEY, this storm has impacted the students’ lives for years to come. My students are unique in their strengths and challenges and it's up to the teacher to foster individualize learning to the students.
My Project
With very little equipment my students cant have a proper physical education class. The new equipment will provide my students with the resource we need for our team sports unit which will include Basketball, Football and Soccer. The Basketball Goals will ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn how to shoot on a Basketball Goal. With the basketball and soccer balls the students will be able to learn the different skills such as dribbling passing and shooting. With the footballs the students will learn about different skills such as throwing and catching. The new equipment will provide a great experience for my class.
