Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will learn the importance of leading an active lifestyle. The equipment provided from this project will be utilized to help students acheive their physical fitness goals and pass the FitnessGram assessment.

Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.

Bosu balls will be used to assist in building stability and balance. Sit & Reach boxes will test flexibility. The weight, height, and BMI scale will provide students with information needed to set fitness goals.
