Get Fired Up Using Amazon Tablets for Research and Learning

Help me give my students an opportunity to develop their research skills using the internet. These Amazon Fire tablets will allow us to have daily access to the world wide web for social studies and science lessons.

My Students

My students are curious, energetic, thoughtful and full of questions about everything! They are the same group of students I taught as third graders last year, so we have become a family. We all know each other so well!

My students gravitate to anything that is hands-on and engaging, especially if it involves using technology.

They have not met an app they can't master! When it comes to using electronic devices, they are fearless. In our classroom, we use the internet everyday to discover answers to our questions about the world.

My Project

The Amazon Fire tablets will allow my students to have daily and individual access to the internet. This will aid my students

who come from a school where 76% or more students qualify for free and reduced lunch, in being able to research projects.

Many of my students do not have internet at home and need devices available to them at school to help aid in their learning.

The Amazon Fire tablets will open new doors to learning for many of my students. As a teacher I know students need to understand and use the internet efficiently in order to be successful in life and careers. I look forward to having my students use these devices to research science and social studies topics.
