My Students

I have an amazing group of students who are eager to come to school and learn! My students come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and learning abilities. They include English Language Learners and intellectually gifted students. Jerry Blumengarten said, "Tech gives the quietest student a voice." This statement is so true!

Some of my students refuse to talk in front of others, but when you allow them to use technology, they begin to shine!

My students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom, but they never let this affect their ability or enthusiasm to learn! Students at our school receive 100% free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

The MacBook Air will make a difference in my students' learning. I currently have a MacBook Pro that connects to other technology in our classroom, but unfortunately it is coming to its end. This new MacBook Air will be able to connect to the same technology and allow my students to continue in their learning.

With this MacBook Air, the sky is the limit to what my students can do!

We are constantly using online programs such as Google Classroom, iReady, Foss Science online, Accelerated Reader, and many online interventions. We need a reliable computer to continue to access all of these resources and continue our educational experiences using technology.
