My Students
My classroom is very diverse (race, nationality, socioeconomic status, etc). I teach at a Title 1 school that is working on STEAM for all curriculums. Many of my student are interested in science, but have not had the opportunity or means to delve into many areas of science. These students deserve every opportunity to learn.
My Project
Students many times come to my class, as well as others, with technology that is drained of energy. Their Chromebooks allow students to complete and turn in work digitally. Student success is important to me and every student deserves the chance to succeed. Due to COVID limitations on movement around the room, many students cannot reach an outlet to charge their Chromebook. The addition of the power strips will allow every student access to an outlet to charge their Chromebooks during class. Their technology then will not go dead during critical times in class.
