Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have the best group of second graders! We all are very excited to be back in the classroom and are eager to learn new skills. I feel confident that my students will be able to accomplish these skills set for them by having the right tools in place.

My students come from a highly impoverished area, they face daily challenges that delay them in their learning.

I cannot wait to see their excitement in this new year and new classroom with the tools to help them become successful in second grade. Family and friends will be able to see their children grow as they accomplish the goals set before them.

My Project

These helpful materials will aid my students' defense against the awful COVID-19 and other illnesses. I will house a large number of students in my second-grade classroom, limiting the spread of germs will keep my students in school and learning the necessary skills needed to be promoted to the next grade level. These items will make a difference for my students while they are in school. Cleanliness is a MUST for staying healthy and being able to learn. Safety is my TOP priority!
