My Students
My students are a group of highly energetic, amazing children with autism in grades 1-5. Many students with autism have difficulties in learning new information, communicating, and social interaction. All of my kids have awesome personalities and love to learn!
The students in my class need small group and teacher led instruction.
Learning through computer based programs are not in the best interest of my kids. Most instruction is hands on and highly interactive. I teach in an urban elementary school in Wisconsin with a high poverty rate.
My Project
Help us stay safe and healthy at school this year. We are enjoyng being back to in person learning this year, and want to stay that way! The kids are all getting used to wearing masks all day. We are washing hands frequently and use hand sanitizer throughout the school day.
I am asking for your help to provide some items, such as masks, soap and hand sanitizer that will help us keep our safe learning environment.
Masks are required for all staff and students, and many kids go through more than one mask per day!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
