Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a low-income/high poverty school district in South Texas. With schools opening soon, students will log in at home eager and ready to interact and learn. My students encounter themselves with limited resources, yet they will try their best to learn, discover, and explore in my digital classroom.

My preschoolers love storytime, pretend play, and hands-on activities the most!

Discovering new things as they play to learn is very important and enjoyable to me. At four and five years of age, they're full of raw emotions that I treasure and protect alike.

My Project

While these items are not directly used for educational purposes, they will play an important role as we transition back to the classroom by keeping the tiny hands of four year olds clean and germ free. With quick hygiene availability, we can all feel confident and focus on educational practices.

A classroom hand sanitizer dispenser is highly needed in our Pre K room to ensure continuous accessibility to my pre schoolers hygiene!

The no touch forehead thermometer will be a much needed tool to evaluate my students at a glance.
