My Students
I am a speech-language teacher providing services to pre-k students with impairments to their receptive and expressive language skills. Pre-kindergarten is such an exciting group of inquisitive students who are learning various skills through structured play, songs, story-time and hands-on activities.
I love the fact that my tenacious yet witty pre-schoolers keeps on my toes.
This is a crucial period in which my little ones are learning to develop basic life skills, early literacy skills, appropriate pragmatic language, auditory comprehension and so much more.
My Project
It is that time of the year when my students are beginning to get the sniffles! Many of my students attend the speech classroom sneezing and coughing. They are always in need of tissue and hand sanitizers. It is imperative for students to learn and practice proper hygienic care by covering mouth when coughing, using a tissue to wipe their nose (and not their sleeves), washing hands, and sanitizing hands. While catching a cold or even getting sick is inevitable, they need essential items to help prevent the spread of germs.
My students would definitely benefit from hand sanitizers, kleenex tissues for their runny noses and a clean sanitized surface to do their work.
