German Immersion Literature Learning Storytelling Tools

My students need to learn German language and tell stories in German. Students need flannel story telling materials to help them with fairy tales.

My Students

Every day we start class with writing and we read stories in German. Students love working with groups to increase their German Literacy skills.

Our school believes firmly that every student should be taught according to their learning style.

Students are self directed and make their own classroom rules. We speak German and hear stories. Students share these stories in German while improving their grammar and language skills. Mixed socioeconomic backgrounds provide unique learning challenges.

My Project

We will use these flannel boards and story telling materials for students to work in groups. They will write a story and use their figures to share with their group and with the class. Students will use story telling to improve their grammar and create in the German language.

Our classroom is in a new school and our program is brand new.

This will help us establish a base for our students to have a solid program for years to come. It will help students get excited about learning and story telling in German.
