Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our vibrant Bronx Title I classroom, where students from diverse backgrounds come together to discover the power of words, we need your help maintaining a space that matches their incredible potential. Our young readers and writers deserve an environment where they can focus on analyzing powerful novels and crafting their own stories without distractions. Disinfectant wipes will allow us to keep our cherished classroom library books and shared materials germ-free, ensuring every student can safely explore stories that transport them to new worlds. Chromebook cleaners will protect our limited but vital technology, letting students conduct research and draft their writing without smudged screens hindering their work.
Headphones will become essential tools for our English Language Learners and developing readers, giving them private access to audiobooks and literacy apps that build crucial skills.
Fresh markers will transform our anchor charts and writing workshops into vibrant, visually engaging lessons that make complex concepts click. These simple but powerful tools will help create the organized, inspiring space our students need to fully immerse themselves in literature and develop their voices as writers.
