My Students
Our students are creative, thoughtful and ready to learn! They absolutely love reading, math and learning about new things. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are our inspiration!

We are diverse with a very large group of language learners and growing like crazy, many students in our classrooms come to school with untapped or underdeveloped background knowledge due to language or opportunity. All children absolutely love learning, although their starting points and background knowledge may vary greatly.
My Project
Students are engaged in developing their understanding of geometry fundamentals. Geometric tools are tools used to draw geometric figures and to perform the math of geometry. Using geometry with geometric tools is important as it allows you to prove geometric principles and to solve geometric problems without the use of numbers.
Having a compass and a protractor are basic geometric tools that make a big impact in students' math learning by being able to manipulate the tools.
Students are using protractors to find angle measures to decide if two triangles are similar.
