My students need 18 pounds of modeling clay to create 3D structures.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Lee's classroom raised $243

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year again, our students won't benefit from any art program due to cuts in funding. How can I boost their creativity and improve their visualization skills without any supplies?
Usually African American students make up 70% of my class; the rest includes a rich diversity of cultures such as Latino and Asian.
Since we are a Social Justice Magnet School, we are teaching respect, tolerance, appreciation, and teamwork. Our students are aware of the issues awaiting them and they are getting ready! Unfortunately, my school is a title I LAUSD without extra funding as most of our parents can't afford donations.
My Project
With Crayola modeling clay, students will build and draw different shapes in order to make connection between the 2D and 3D renditions of the same object. They will also create different buildings and study them from various perspectives. They will paint each side a different color so they can distinguish them easily; thereafter, they'll draw their creation from different point-of-views.
Your donation would surely bring joy to the class, but most importantly, it would support the education of potential artists and architects.
These supplies will develop students' patience, imagination, and critical thinking. Thank you for being an agent of change!
