My Project
I am requesting for a scientific calculator, compass, anchor chart paper, and pencils. My goals for this project are for students to be able to perform tasks through exploration of different geometric tools that are not being provided through the curriculum. I love that my students love to explore how to solve problems using manipulatives.
The use of these materials will be very useful when I am teaching geometry to my students. The calculator will allow them to check their work when solving problems. For example, the compass will allow students to draw perfect circles when needed. Lastly, the anchor charts will provide students with visuals needed.
