My Project

I would like to create a geometry math project that would include studying the properties of shapes, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids, focusing on their measurements, relationships, and spatial positioning within a given space. With a Christmas tree the students would be able to create and design from "nets" brought from Teachers pay Teachers, geometric shapes to hang on the GeomeTREE as ornaments. GeomeTREE is the perfect math activity for the holidays! Students will color, cut & paste solid basic figures (triangles, rectangles, squares, and circles) to compose other solid figures like bigger triangles and trapezoids to construct hang their own on our class GeomeTREE!
