The students in my second grade class are full of energy. They always come to school with smiles on their faces and look forward to the day. Our classroom atmosphere is always busy and full of joy.
Every single child in my class attributes a sense of happiness and motivation.
My students also love hands-on projects. I have several students who excel in school and love to help the lower students. I am lucky to have so many students willing to help. These innovative minds are bound for greatness!
My Project
In second grade, learners are visual and concrete. They need to be able to see what they are learning. Geoboards are a great way to show students exactly what they are making.
Geoboards are plastic boards with pegs on them that students can string rubber bands on into shapes.
This helps the visual learners see the shapes and symmetry. These materials will be used to explain what different shapes look like as a class. We will be able to do teacher led discussions and directions, along with independent work.
Geoboards are also a great way to promote independent work. Students can use their imagination to create pictures on the boards.
