This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the most adaptive when it comes to PE. They just roll with the punches when it comes to equipment and space use. Often times, we have to do workouts in dance studios or elsewhere due to the small gym space we have and multiple PE classes going on during one block. We do not have a weight room or an appropriate outdoor space to do our workouts.

I want to give my students some more options for building significant strength with this project.

Having a squat rack allows for big muscle exercises like the squat and bench press. These two squat racks are foldable so we can tuck them away and still maximize the gym space when not in use. Your support will finally make this a reality and not only will it help PE classes, but our fitness club as well.
