Highland Junior High School's library is currently undergoing a transformation by genrefying its collection of fiction books.
Genrefication simplifies the process of locating books that match patrons' reading preferences. In order to do this, color-coded labels are needed. These labels play a crucial role in distinguishing various genres, including Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, Science Fiction, Supernatural, Horror, Mystery, and Historical Fiction.
To further enhance the library's user experience, new signage will be introduced to guide visitors to their preferred book genres. Moreover, recognizing that many students frequent the library during lunchtime, there's a need to stock up on games, graphic novels, and illustrated books, offering a diverse range of engaging materials for students to enjoy and explore.
