Help me give my students get the supplies they need for hands on learning projects. In addition our culinary lab uses a lot of hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies to stay in compliance with ServSafe safety regulations.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will support the learning environment in my classroom by providing essential supplies for projects and sanitation. I would like for my students to feel comfortable in knowing that all the supplies they need are here and they do not have to worry about not being able to purchase the supplies themselves since many of our student population are low income.
All of my students get to experience the art of Culinary.
They learn that there are options in the culinary industry that they were not aware of previously, they learn critical life skills that will help throughout their lifespan and they learn to be a part of the workforce that is well trained and ready for anything that presents itself.
My classroom has room for everyone. NO restrictions, including some special needs students. My students learn how to collaborate with others they do not know, to be part of a team environment and they learn professional ethics.
