Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plates are revolutionary printing plates that are ideal for mixed media art, card making, Artist Trading Cards, and more. The process is easy for all learners! For example, paint is put on the gelli surface, spread out with a brayer, then a variety of stencils and other objects are placed on the gelli plate. Next, the object is removed and placed on the fabric or paper. The stencil leaves a texture or pattern on the gelli plate that is transferred to what you are printing on.
There are an infinite variety of ways to use Gelli Plate printing with a wide variety of inks, stencils, magazines, or really anything to add texture.
The Gelli Plate is a reusable printing surface made of a non-perishable gel. Depending on the paint or other medium used - clean up is easy, which is always a benefit for an art teacher!
My students are a diverse community of learners that engage in a rigorous and comprehensive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics programs integrated with Humanities.
