My Project

We’re seeking donations of gelli plates for our art program to help students explore printmaking techniques. Your support will greatly enhance their creative experiences. A gelli plate project involves students exploring the art of monoprinting using gel-like printing plates. Students apply paint or ink to the gelli plate, layer with textures or stencils, and then press paper onto the plate to transfer unique, one-of-a-kind prints.

This hands-on project helps students experiment with color, layering, and composition in a way that’s accessible yet impactful.

Gelli printing encourages creativity, as no two prints are alike, and students can quickly see results, fostering excitement and engagement in learning printmaking techniques.
