I currently teach 44 wonderful English Learners in a small school district in Daly City,California and we are extremely limited on funds. My old individual chalk boards are ready to be tossed and I would like to purchase gel boards to replace them. The gel boards would allow my students to have a hands on learning environment. The boards would be used for phonics, writing, reading and math. They would certainly increase student participation and interest. The gel boards use a safe, non-toxic gel that allows the student to write magically with a magnetic pen. To erase,the student simply rubs the image away with his/her finger. What fun! I would love to have 24 Alphabet Gel Boards. The back of these boards also include information my ELL students can also use for learning. Basic phonograms, beginning word lists, days of the week and months of the year are listed. The total cost of 24 boards and magnetic pens would be $183.48. Thank you again.
