Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We will have a learning fair in my English and History classes this spring. I am trying to provide materials for the students to create their display boards. The boards, markers and glue will be perfect for making displays. This will help ensure equal access to materials regardless of income and provide them with nice materials to work with for their presentations.
The English class may do theirs as a book report or to accompany their debate unit.
This is the first time something like this has been done in our small alternative school. We will start small with my class and try it with future classes.
