Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! Most of them have been at the school since kindergarten, and our school is special because we can really develop a close relationship with each individual student as they grow up.

As a school with a bilingual program, students are immersed in rigorous instruction in both English and Spanish!

There are numerous benefits to being bilingual and students work very hard to access the curriculum despite it being a challenge. We have both Spanish-dominant and English-dominant speakers, which means that 100% of our students are second language learners!

My Project

These materials will provide my students with​ an organized and clean space. We clean VERY often in the classroom and often purchasing more and more cleaning wipes. We also often have extra materials around the classroom that do not need to be used for the whole but are important to store for when we need them.

In order to get things out of the way for the time they are not used, these materials will help keep them tucked away providing students more space to learn!

Once the materials are used, these bins are helpful because they collapse and will not take up space when they are not being used.
