Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need playground equipment because active play promotes physical health and improves motor skills. Playgrounds also support social development, helping kids learn teamwork, sharing, and conflict resolution. It is also beneficial to maintain a structured, positive environment during unplanned indoor breaks.
Recess also offers a mental break, boosting focus and academic performance.
Safe, engaging equipment encourages creativity and reduces behavioral issues. Not all families have access to outdoor play areas, making school playgrounds essential for equity. Investing in play areas creates a fun, inclusive environment that supports students’ overall growth and well-being, making school a more joyful and enriching experience.
We are requesting a foldable wagon, sports balls, magnetic tiles, bubble wands and hula hoops! Thank you for your help!
