Help me give my students who participate in track and field the opportunity to have a successful track season. All athletes should have access to quality equipment.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All my track and field athletes need to be properly equipted to compete this track and field season. Highland High School is a 100% free/reduced lunch school and we have many students new to school, sports, and even the United States. Not all my athletes are able to afford the proper equipment for the track season. I purchase shoes and spikes on my own a LOT, but it is not always enough. This program will allow me to have spikes in enough sizes that I can equip as many athletes as possible.
When athletes are equipped properly, they are able to have more confidence!
