This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Majority of students enrolled at our school are from economically disadvantaged families. The requested items, including portable laminators, paper cutters, and pencils, will significantly enhance students' learning experiences. Laminators will preserve educational materials like posters and worksheets, ensuring they withstand frequent use and last longer. Paper cutters will aid in the efficient preparation of learning materials, enabling teachers to create neatly cut handouts and resources, thus saving time and enhancing organization. Additionally, access to quality pencils empowers students to express their creativity effectively, communicate ideas, and engage in critical thinking, fostering essential skills across various subjects and activities. The absence of those gears in the classroom can impede educators' ability to create durable, visually appealing, and versatile learning resources, potentially affecting the quality of instruction and student engagement.
