it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We already have an established archery club on campus and are looking to upgrade some of our items, which include hip quivers and more bow stringers.
Hip quivers and bow stringers are essential tools that can greatly enhance students’ archery learning experience.
Our current ground quivers were what we could afford at the time and tend to blow over with any slight wind. Hip quivers allow students to keep arrows easily accessible on their body instead of the ground, promoting better focus on form and accuracy rather than fumbling for equipment.
We currently only have one bow stringer for our club, and the club is growing! Having more bow stringers on hand will make it so students can get to shooting faster, instead of waiting on one stringer. Bow stringers ensure bows are safely and properly strung, teaching responsibility while preventing damage to equipment or injury.
These tools empower students to practice independently and confidently, fostering discipline and perseverance. My students are special because they approach archery with enthusiasm and determination, striving to master a skill that builds focus, patience, and self-confidence. With proper gear, they can achieve their goals!
