My Students

James Comer said, "No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship." My students and I have created amazing relationships since I was chosen as their teacher. These 3rd graders have taught me some of the most valuable lessons!

Each and every one of them brings something new and interesting to the classroom.

We grow and learn together each day. We try our best to create a kind and loving community of learners. Mistakes are 100% okay in my classroom, and we love laughing about them once they are solved!

My Project

Having Chromebooks in my class will be a game changer! Having nine Chromebooks, which is enough for half of the class, will allow for many different structures of learning. My students will be able to develop typing skills, research their many questions, and so much more. Students will be able to partner up and develop communication, collaboration, problem solving, and creativity in the classroom.

Every child in my room is unique, but one thing they all have in common is the love of technology.

Our world is changing, and it's changing fast! As adults, we know technology is one of the most important skills to be proficient at. I can't wait to see what these 3rd graders can achieve with their new technology!
