Gathering Together

Help me give my students a comfortable and special place to sit during reading and class meeting time.

My Project

Please help me give my class a new carpet to sit on! We gather often as a class for read alouds and meeting time but need a new place to sit. Currently students have an old rug or their chair.

Students deserve something nice and new to sit on while working hard.

My students find comfort and safety in school as we are in inner city Philadelphia where they are not experiencing that at home. Many of them tell us they share beds or sleep on the floor. I'd love for them to feel the comfort of a soft rug. The office chair would be for the reader. Students love having a chance to sit in a "big chair" and share their reading with others.
