My Project
A kidney table is ideal for small group work because its curved shape allows the teacher to sit close to multiple students at once, creating a more personal and focused learning environment. It supports effective guided instruction, making it easier to monitor progress, give immediate feedback, and differentiate teaching.
Students benefit from increased engagement and support, especially those who need extra help.
The design also promotes eye contact and collaboration, helping build stronger teacher-student connections. Additionally, the table helps organize classroom space efficiently, keeping group work structured and purposeful while fostering a sense of community and shared learning.
More than half of students from low‑income households
