Gather Around The Kindergarten Carpet!

My students need a new classroom carpet to be the place my students gather every morning, have calendar, share stories and learn!

My Students

Our students come to school with a positive attitude and are excited to learn. They are creative artists, thinkers, scientists and they are getting ready to become readers and writers. They come from diverse backgrounds and speak various home languages.

My students attend an elementary school in an undeserved community.

We have many English Language Learners from various language backgrounds who require specialized English language instruction each day in addition to their typical classwork. Some students do not have consistent or concrete learning opportunities outside of school, and their kindergarten year is often their first experience with literacy and learning.

My Project

My students need a new classroom carpet for the upcoming school year! Our old carpet has been inherited through teachers and is starting to get stains and worn. My students would love to have a new carpet to start their day on, learn and play.

We would love a new, clean rug for our classroom to use during our story time, calendar and whole group lessons.

My students need a cozy carpet to invite them to learn. We spend most of our day on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space of their own while they take on the learning challenges of kindergarten.
