My Project
In our classroom, small group instruction is essential. We use these groups to reteach foundational skills, provide enrichment, and create space for students to express their thinking and learn from one another. A horseshoe-shaped dry erase table would completely transform the way we work together.
This table allows me to sit and instruct at the center while students surround me, making it easy to monitor progress and provide real-time feedback.
The dry erase surface turns the whole table into a shared workspace—students can show their thinking, solve problems, and revise work in a way that feels low-stress and engaging. It’s perfect for math intervention, number talks, and collaborative problem solving.
Right now, we’re making do with handheld whiteboards and clipboards. A awesome whiteboard table like this one would provide a more inclusive and functional space that promotes collaboration and creativity. It would help my students see themselves as mathematicians who grow every day!
