My Students

My class is comprised of highly curious and energetic students.They love to work in groups on projects in reading, math and social Studies. The 5th grade curriculum offers many chances to explore topics from Westward Expansion to Fantasy literature.

Our school is in a diverse urban setting.

We have students from many countries and this adds to our rich education. Our parents are involved and are very supportive of our teachers.

My students are very special and watching them grow into thinkers is very inspiring.

My Project

We need a place for groups to gather for instruction, group projects and reading clubs. Students would benefit from having a place to meet and collaborate.

The kidney shaped table has a dry erase surface!

This allows students to jot notes, try out problems and share ideas without having to use paper. We are committed to reducing our paper waste so this specific table will allow us to do that.

Group work is key to our classroom. Students will be very excited to have a dedicated table to use for their meetings. This table will help them thrive and show their best thinking!
