My Project
We are lucky to have a safe courtyard right outside our classroom complete with raised flower beds. To kick off this year's garden, we need some supplies.
The children in my class are from the city and never get to see or be part of the process of planting and growing of plants and vegetables for that reason I selected a seed starter with a grow light, a new raised bed for tomatoes, and seeds for a butterfly garden.
I'm eager to see my students' excitement as they engage in the entire gardening process.
Last year, we enjoyed a bountiful harvest of green beans and tomatoes, which we turned into a delicious tomato soup paired with fresh green beans.
